Find Your Course

There are several ways to find information about campus courses. The UW offers two different views of the course catalog.

Find Your Course

The UW course catalog, known as the Time Schedule, shows all courses available on the UW Seattle campus during the summer quarter, with courses arranged by individual college and academic department, such as the College of Arts and Sciences. Time Schedule View requires an active UW NetID. Non-UW students can use the public access Course Offerings View instead.

To use the Time Schedule:

  • Click on the Summer Quarter Time Schedule View link.
  • Click on the college name at the top of the page, then select a subject to see all the courses offered during summer.
  • Click on a course title to view its description in the course catalog.
  • If you want an online course, look for an O (online) or A (online asynchronous) under the Other column.B indicates a course is hybrid with some classes meeting in a physical classroom and others online.

When you find a course you're interested in, make note of the Schedule Line Number (SLN) or course abbreviation and number. You'll need this when it's time to register for your course.

For other campus offerings, see the time schedules for UW Tacoma and UW Bothell.

The Course Offerings View offers a public access version of the course catalog that non-UW students and others without a UW NetID can use to search for courses available on the UW Seattle campus during summer quarter. Courses are arranged by individual college and academic department, such as the College of Arts and Sciences.

To use the Course Offerings:
