How to Register — Non-UW Students
Summer Sessions is open to everyone.
To register for Summer Sessions as a non-UW student at the Seattle campus, follow the steps below.

Step One: Find Your Class
Summer Sessions offers more than 1,000 courses to choose from. For help finding the course or courses that are right for you, see the Courses & Programs page.
Step Two: Apply to Summer Sessions
- Apply online using the Summer Sessions application.
- Submit the $80 nonrefundable application fee.
Once your application has been processed, you'll receive an email with your student number, private access code (PAC) and registration instructions. The email will tell you how to set up a UW NetID, which allows you to access UW online services. You'll need a UW NetID to register.
Step Three: Register
Once registration opens, you can use MyPlan to register online for your Summer Sessions courses. Need help? Learn how to register using MyPlan.

Step Four: Pay Tuition and Fees
Once you've registered, visit the Tuition & Fees page for UW Summer Sessions tuition costs. For payment instructions, see information from Student Fiscal Services. For a full list of tuition deadlines, see the Academic Calendar.
